Pierre Montiel has been presenting slide lectures on Hollywood's legendary stars from its golden age, the New York worlds' fairs, 1940s New York City, and the Seven Wonders Of The Ancient World since 1998. A graduate of New York's City College with a degree in Cinema and Speech, Montiel is also a film and Hollywood historian, a New York City historian and licensed tour guide, a photo archivist and a former cartoonist and caricaturist; his work has appeared in Life and Interview Magazine.
Some of his clients include the Museum of the City of New York, the Queens Historical Society, the Queens Museum of Art, Jewish Association for Services for the Aged (JASA) in New York City, the Bronx Riverdale Y, the Jewish Historical Society, Brooklyn's Heights and Hills Community Council, as well as various senior centers throughout the New York metropolitan area.
